So I’m thinking it’s best to start here since my photography adventure began during my stint in Philadelphia. Also shortly after moving here I bought my ‘fancy camera’. I love this city and really loved my year-plus living here, there’s something for everyone. It’s old and crumbling and every building has a working class charm that I am obsessed with. As a Canadian, Philadelphia was never on my radar until I got recruited for a job opportunity. Definitely over-shadowed by New York, reminds me of old world Montreal but marches to the beat of it’s own drum. If you ever have the opportunity to go, you should.. and do these things:
Eat at a Marc Vetri restuarant, make sure you watch this first.
Ride your bike to Fairmount Park, bring water.. it will probably be a thousand degrees.
Have a beer on the Manayunk Brewing Company, try all the beers.
Go see something related to American History because the country pretty much started there.
